ABOUT: This demo was only released via YouTube just to show friends and fans that had not yet seen a show what the band sounded like.
ABOUT: "The First EP" is Dead Authority's first official release. They re-recorded some songs from the online demo and remixed/remastered some songs as well. They also recorded the EP's starting track, "Suh-weet!" to add something new to the album. They copyrighted and published their songs for the first time and thus became "The First EP." It was released in CD format and digital format via Bandcamp. Only between 100 and 150 CDs of it were produced so a CD copy is rare and unavailable for purchase. However, the band has the full EP up on their YouTube channel and available for free download here: http://deadauthority.bandcamp.com/album/the-first-ep

ABOUT: Dead Authority started making a new full-length album towards the end of 2013 and because of that didn't get out to play for people as much. On New Year's Day of 2014, they announced on all their social media websites that they would be releasing a new single from the upcoming album over the weekend, and on January 3rd, 2014 they did just that by putting out "How to Feel Nothing Without Novacaine" as a digital single on iTunes, Spotify, Google Play, Bandcamp, and all other digital music stores. Links to buy this song can be found on our "Home" page!
ABOUT: "Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Crappiness" is going to be Dead Authority's first full-length album. It is expected to contain eleven tracks and to come out in June 2014. The band began work on this album back in October 2013 and have slowly been making progress on it while playing shows, working, and going to school. They promise it to be their best release to date and there are even some plans for a follow-up EP to this album. If you want to hear an exclusive sneak peak at one of the songs that will be on this album, email us at: deadauthority26@gmail.com and ask us for one. Or better yet, see us play many of them live at a show!
